A Celebration

Liz Updike Cobblah

On November 3 we held a late afternoon gathering in Concord Massachusetts to thank and inform our friends and supporters. About 50 people came together in spirited celebration of our

successful 2024 summer program. A panel of past participants, including two teachers who zoomed in from Ghana, reflected on questions posed by board member Marc Harrison. It was

gratifying to learn of the variety of practices and lessons, inspired by Witness Tree, that are taking place in classrooms. Tete’s video, a labor of love, attached here, further illustrates the joyful work of our mission-driven program. Delicious Ghanaian food provided by Unique Catering of Worcester was provided. Special thanks go to our team of helpful friends for time and energy spent on set-up and clean-up. The gathering affirmed our work, generated new

ideas and gave past participants a welcome chance to reconnect. A good time was had by all.
